Hi Neighbor!

"Hey Brad! Do you think I could borrow a 1/4 Cup of sugar?"

"Sure" he replied. "What are you making?"

"I am making frozen yogurt".

I couldn't believe that I actually asked my neighbor to borrow some sugar. It really does happen!

Is there back-story about Brad I don't know about?

The last thing my neighbor borrowed from me was a wine bottle opener, and she never returned it.

Which brings me to... You used the term "borrow." Are you planning on returning the 1/4 cup of sugar?

Several years ago I lived in a pathetic shack in Mill Valley, a luscious (and overpriced) town in Marin County. Rumor had it that Dana Carvey was buying a house just below mine -- where I figured I could bop his roof with a watermelon rind.
One day, my husband and I were walking into town, when we passed a lovely young couple with babies.
"Howdy," said the man.
"Hi," we said. And they passed on.
Wait! That was Dana Carvey!!!
I ran after him, shouting, "Do you want to borrow a cup of sugar?"

Steamy Kitchen!
I offered to share my yogurt with him! I haven't seen him since yesterday and now there isn't much yogurt left...

I guess that makes me the bad neighbor!
